Gerry Moira
Gerry started his advertising career with Ogilvy and Mather, as a Copywriter in 1977. Winning awards for HP Sauces, British Chickens and Nestlé Aero. He joined the board as Creative Director at the age of 28.
In 1982 he joined Publicis and created the "Gripping Stuff" for Pirelli and "What's yours called" advertising for Renault 5.
After launching his co-owned agency WMGO in 1987 (sold eight years later to the publicly-quoted Incepta Group) Gerry re-joined Publicis as Executive Creative Director in 1995.
The agency grew from 13th to 3rd largest in the UK. Gerry added the title of Chairman to his ever-growing job specification in 2002 and found time to conceive the "Va-Va-Voom" campaign for Renault Clio.
With no more titles left to assume at Publicis, he took up consulting and freelance writing in 2004, until he became Euro RSCG's UK Director of Creativity in January 2005.
